United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Project Manager in Bamako, Mali. The duration of this post is 10 months.

UNOPS mission is to serve people in need by expanding the ability of the United Nations, governments and other partners to manage projects, infrastructure, and procurement in a sustainable and efficient manner.

Role Summary
The Project Manager will perform the following functions-
-Establish an excellent relationship with the steering committee (project manager, user manager, supplier manager), the client and key stakeholders.
-Manage communications, ensure that stakeholders are aware of project activities, progress and exceptional situations and ensure that they are able to receive the products.
-Advise the client on issues that may affect the achievement of their objectives (such as sustainability issues or post-project requirements such as product maintenance).
-Manage the flow of information between the steering committee / operations center director and project staff.

Eligibility
Applicants must have-
-The candidate must have a postgraduate degree equivalent to BAC + 5 in architecture, civil engineering or other relevant discipline.
-A combined undergraduate university degree (BAC + 3) with 2 additional years of relevant experience may be accepted instead of the requirement mentioned above.
-At least seven years of progressive experience in project management, preferably in the Infrastructure sector, within public or private sector organizations.
-Perfect command of French and English is required.
