Truck Crushes Father, 2 Children To Death

An unmarked truck on Friday crushed two sons and their father to death on their way to school.

It was gathered that the deceased were on a motorcycle with registration number Ogun OG 7613 BA when the truck crushed them.

Babatunde Akinbiyi, the Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance Agency confirming the incident, said it happened on Oru bridge in Ago-Iwoye area of the state.

Akinbiyi blamed the accident on over speeding on the path of the truck driver.

“Quick intervention of our operatives saved the life of another victim who was rushed to an hospital.

“Angry youths and students in the area set the truck ablaze while attacking other trucks that ply the road,”‎ he said.
