TopNaija.ng’s Publisher Reviews Bovi’s ‘Man On Fire’ Show
Isaac Oladipupo, Publisher of topnaija.ng, was in attendance at comedian Bovi’s ‘Man On Fire’ show which held at Eko Hotels Convention Centre on Friday, May 5th 2017.
Isaac took to his Instagram page to applaud the talented and hard-working comedian for a job well done at the highly successful comedy show.

“Excellence isn’t just a skill, it’s a routine.
Last night, this dude was literally on fire delivering original, spontaneous, never-heard-before jokes back to back.
From the time he was brought up stage by @mofedamijo at about 11:30pm, shortly after @basketmouth‘s epic rant, till the stunning closure of the show, Bovi practically redefined what it means to hold a Nigerian audience spellound – at midnight.
My respect for him and his depth of dexterity soared to unprecedented levels as we watched him perform classics for about TWO HOURS non-stop.
It’s okay to hold the mic for long and get by doing average stuff but this guy had the tempo on consistent increase, from the nuances to the pauses, the movement, the words, arrangements etc, until he dropped the mic around past one. All by himself.
Myself and @tifeinspires were utterly awestruck by his unusual prowess at telling compelling stories while passing across powerful messages in the most hilarious manner possible.
Beyond the outrageous laughs and excitement, we left Eko Hotels highly inspired for strange reasons.
Like Bovi, if every Nigerian commits to being the best at what they do, our realities as a nation would certainly change almost overnight.
Entertainment is a very POWERFUL and INFLUENTIAL tool which we have underrated for a long time, as a nation. However, If well harnessed, it can be used to influence social and national development in several ways.
Suffice to say even forward thinking churhes need leverage the power of the arts more than ever before to more effectively achieve the great commission. The earlier churches also key into this the better for our world. This is probably a discussion for another day.
Thank you so much Bovi for developing your phenomenal gift so well and using it in the most strategic ways. Thanks for being so unique. Thank you for not just making us laugh but also getting us to think deep while at it. Thank you for understading your brand so well.
