Policeman’s corpse founed in Osun State

The lifeless body of a policeman, identified as Sunday Adejumo, attached the Zone 11 headquarters of the Nigerian Police Force in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, was on Wednesday found at Onibueja, a suburb of the metropolis, TopNaija.ng can confirm.

According to different sources, the deceased was last seen at a sawmill in the area where he came to purchase planks.

He was seen paying for the planks on Tuesday, without carrying the materials along.

The remains of the slain policeman was later discovered in front of a popular petrol station beside the sawmill.

One of the eyewitnesses said “we saw this man here yesterday. He came to this sawmill to buy planks. He paid for the planks, but he did not go with it.

“The plank seller was expecting the man to come and carry the planks today. We are surprised to see his dead body this morning.”

The Public Relation Officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Mr Wale Afolabi said officials of the Corps discovered the corpse of the policeman and reached out to police authority.

In the same vein, the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of the Zone 11, AIG Agboola Osodi Glova, who confirmed the incident vowed to investigate and get to the root of the case.
