Fans and admirers who had earlier sympathized with him and advocated against the demolition of the popular ‘Music house’ were quick to pour in their congratulatory remarks while adding that the demolition was unnecessary in the first place.

Prior to the demolition exercise, Ayefele had denied breaking the law and claimed to be in possession of all documents confirming the legality of the structure.

However, the Oyo government maintained that the structure contravened the building laws of the state.

The famous gospel singer had said the structure which housed his music studio and the popular Fresh FM was worth N800 million.
