#OsunElection: Buhari orders IG of Police not to invite Adeleke
President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the police not to invite Senator Ademola Adeleke before the Osun State election, TOPNAIJA.NG has uncovered.
Buhari reportedly gave the order to the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris.
The police had in a statement declared Adeleke, who is running for Osun State Governor under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) wanted.
The senator was invited on charges of examination malpractice, criminal conspiracy, impersonation.
Punch has however reported that “a presidential source” who requested not to be named has said the president ordered the IG not to invite Adeleke before the election on Saturday, September 22.
