Nas And Ex-Wife Kelis Finally Resolve Their Child Custody Battle

And the story goes, once upon a time, a young Man named Nas, met a beautiful young lady named Kelis. The two fell in love and got married after some time–in 2005 to be precise.

they would have lived happily ever after, but everything comes to end eventually, right? Well, theirs ended barely five years down the line in an ugly divorce.

The couple, who have a son together named Knight Jones, have been locked in a custody battle ever since their divorce.

But according to new reports, Nas and Kelis have finally resolved their custody battle.

Nas has always said that Kelis was hostile towards him with regards his relationship with his son. The rapper had claimed that Kelis denied him regular visitations with his son till only when it was convenient for her.

According to TMZ based report on the court documents they had gotten, the couple has agreed on a custody schedule. The schedule allows Nas get “four full weekends over January, February, and March.”  with his son. The visits are to start after school on Fridays and end on Sunday night, or Monday night depending on whether it is a three-day weekend. The agreement also included that both parents must avoid popularizing their Knight on social media.

Nas had initially requested the court grant him custody of his son on the first, third, and fifth weekend of every month, apart from any Mother’s Day, which Knight would spend with his mother Kelis.
