Mother Tows Children With A Wagon Behind Her Car

A mom,27-year-old Alana Nicole Donahue, of Springfield, Oregon, was spotted towing her two children in a wagon behind her car, Witnesses state she was traveling up to speeds of 30mph.

Alana mother of two children, ages 3 and 5, left her home located on Filbert street, she was also with her 8-year-old nephew. Alana had tied a plastic red wagon with a rope to the back of her Ford Taurus. The three children rode the wagon whilst Alana drove.
Witnesses spotted Alan traveling towards the roundabout on Jasper Road and South 42nd Street, they claim she was driving at speeds up to 30 mph. The youngest began to cry when the wagon went up on 2 wheels, the youngest was then placed inside the car while 5-year-old and 8-year-old rode on the plastic wagon.

Witnesses halted Alana, she told them “be an adult about it,” and to “mind their own business.” The police soon after apprehended Alana.

A spokesperson for Springfield Police Department said Alana claimed to have been “showing the kids a good time,” and only driving 5 miles per hour. The mother of a third child 8-year-old boy who is Alana’s nephew, called police after seeing a photo of her child in the wagon circulating on social media, further charges are now pending for Alana, as police originally believed only two of her children were involved.
Alana Nicole Donahue was arrested and charged with three counts of reckless endangerment, she is being held in Springfield Municipal Jail, with a $2,000 bail.
