Screen diva, Monalisa Chinda-Coker is here!

In a sit down question and answer session, Monalisa shares lessons from her past experiences in her five years of marriage with ex-husband and how she survived verbal abuse in her former marriage.

She speaks on her take on the concept of love, the period of transition before her new marriage and the biggest lessons she has learnt so far. When asked her biggest lesson in marriage thus far, “patience” she replied, as she encouraged young women to develop that virtue within them in a bid to avoid anger, resentment and violence.

With a standing ovation, the audience warmly received the founder of The Real Woman Foundation, Mrs Nike Adeyemi.

She started her session by talking about one of the key ingredients of marriage, Love. She urged every single person looking to get married to marry for love.

Mrs Adeyemi took us to church as she cited examples of the effects of love from the story of Jacob and Rachael. She expounded on the patience of love from Jacob’s story and how long he had to wait for Rachael.

She highlighted some warning signs to look out for in choosing one’s life partner. She also spoke on the waiting time and how to maximise that period as a single person.

The panelists now take the stage to discuss the concept of marriage in their own perspectives.

Seun Ajayi (Nollywood Actor), Isaac Oladipupo (Founder, Mediawise Digital Agency), Bowale Agboade (Founder, Kids Entrepreneur Club), Bosun Bankole (Talent Manager, Tecno Mobile) and Timilehin Bello (CEO, Media Panache) were all members of the five-man panel.

Timilehin Bello had some golden words for single people. He talked about how to maximize your single-hood.

“Discover yourself’ that was the first advice he had for single-pringle people.
He also encouraged singles to follow God and pray.
The compere moved on to the founder of Mediawise Digital Agency, Mr Isaac Oladipupo. He was asked how he chose his wife, which I think is a profound question.
He said it was ordained by God; and that the ‘Vision’ was very clear.
Yes sire, our vision will be clear too!
Mr Oladipupo further stated that he had found himself when he found his wife so he was ready for marriage when it came.
Mrs Bowale Agboade talked about her passion, Kids, and how they could be good entrepreneurs. She advised parents to find their kids passion and monetize it.
Nollywood actor, Seun Ajayi, talked about finding God at the young age of 15 and how he held on to his faith in the diverse Nollywood industry. He stated that it could only have been Grace; and surrounding yourself with the right people.
He urged young men to not go searching for a wife yet unless;
1. you have found God
2. Have work
3. You must focus on the fact that you are complete as yourself. the person coming is not ‘the remaining’ but an ‘addition’.
When asked about how to resolve arguments, Seun Ajayi reminded us that “Your Partner is never the argument,”
Mrs Agboade said she usually just removes herself from confrontations.
Timilehin Bello chose the time old ‘civil conversations’ as the way to go.
The panelists rounded up with a brief talk on social media and it’s importance in our everyday life.
