Manchester United have declined Spanish giants, Barcelona’s bid for midfielder, Paul Pogba this summer.

According to Goal, the reason is because of the limited time available to sign a replacement for the French midfielder.

Reports emerged in Italy yesterday claiming that the player’s agent, Mino Raiola has flown to Manchester for talks over a move for his client.

United manager, Jose Mourinho reportedly doesn’t see a place for the France international in his team and feels he lacks the tactical flexibility to adapt to his system

But Goal has claimed that United will not allow the 25-year-old to leave for the Nou Camp or any other club.

The transfer window for English top flight clubs closes on Thursday, the day before United begin their campaign against Leicester City.

The Red Devils, therefore, have limited time to acquire a replacement for Pogba and makes any deal before the transfer window in Spain closes on 31 August a near-impossibility.
