OYSIEC in the revised time table signed by its Chairman, Mr Jide Ajeigbe said that campaigns conduct of primaries will hold till February 23rd.

Ajeigbe in the statement noted that candidates for councillorship positions will be screened by OYSIEC between February 28 and March 4, while chairmanship candidates will be screened from March 6 to 10.

He said that all the cleared candidates from the political parties contesting the election, can pick nomination forms from March 25 to 29, while the names of qualified candidates will be published on 20th April.

He said that electioneering campaigns will end on May 11 while the actual election holds on May 12.

Ajeigbe said that the commission reviewed the time table following complaints by some parties about delineation of wards in the newly created LCDAs.
