filmmaker, Omilani Oluyinka believes that his new movie, Just Before I Do is the most unique story ever told in Nollywood.

From romance to drama and comedy, the industry seems to be plagued with similar storylines and plot that have the audience knowing where the movie is heading even before the end credit is shown.

It tells the story of a conniving mother-in-law, young unmarried couple and a lawyer who are torn between by love and the fight to win a selfish battle; each one fighting for his own. The twist and plot appear to captivate the audience, leaving them wondering who will win this battle of love with his or head held up high.

The movie stars some of the brightest minds in Nollywood albeit in a non-lead role. This has triggered doubt as to the claim of the producer that the movie would be the most unique story ever told in Nollywood.

In a swift reaction to the relatively unknown stars who played the lead roles, the producer Oluyinka made it clear that the strength of the movie was far beyond the casts.

“We don’t have the biggest of stars and marketing budget but we dare say we have one of the most unique story ever told in Nollywood. Our strength lies in our unique storyline and plot twist which will get you glued to your screen till it’s over. It’s a drama with a difference. The casts are mainly an expression of the uniqueness and depth of the story. Each of the cast members was carefully selected for the roles they played. It had nothing to do with how popular they were but how competent they are. It was simply a matter of, will this person deliver exceptionally on this role? Thankfully, they all did and this is why I am confident that people are about to be dazed with Just Before I Do, if I could say so myself,” he said.

Regardless of the lead actors concern, the movie featured some of Nollywood’s finest as well; Afeez Oyetoro (Saka), Kalu Ikeagwu, Shaffy Bello, Jide Kosoko, Eddie Watson, Omowunmi Dada, Omilani Oluyinka and others.

The movie is set to open at the cinemas from April 13.
