Angry youths in Iwo, Osun State, this morning, have taken laws into their hands and set ablaze the Iwo police area command office.

The source of their ire was the reported death of an undergraduate of the Osun state polytechnic, Tunde Nofiu, who was allegedly shot dead by an officer attached to the Special Anti Robbery Squad SARS during the Sallah holiday.

An eyewitness claims that Nafiu and some other persons by the roadside were looking for a motorcycle at Ajangbala area in Iwo town when they were accosted by a triggerhappy SARS officer who fired shots at them yesterday evening Thursday, August 23rd. Nafiu died on the spot.

The youths are demanding justice for the deceased.
