How Tolu Ogunlesi betrayed Atiku, others – Reno Omokri reveals

Former media aide of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has accused Tolu Ogunlesi, a media aide of President Muhammadu Buhari, of betraying former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar.

Ogunlesi, who is in charge of digital communications at the presidency, is said to have worked for Atiku as a media strategist.

Writing via his Twitter handle on Monday, he alleged that Ogunlesi was also working for Nasir el-Rufai, Kaduna governor, during the time he worked for Atiku.

Omokri said the presidential aide is “frustrated” over the leaked recording of Rotimi Amaechi, minister of transportation, making disparaging comments about Nigerians and the president.

He wrote: “Know why @ToluOgunlesi is frustrated? Tolu worked for @Atiku as media strategist. Unknown to Atiku, Tolu was @Elrufai’s man.

“He betrayed Atiku for @MBuhari in 2015. This is Tolu with Atiku’s speech writer and I in 2013. RETWEET if you want me to release Part 3 of #AmaechiTapes.”
