How ‘King of Boys’ made N200m at the box office – Kemi Adetiba reveals
The widely successful and celebrated movie, King of Boys’, a 2018 movie by Kemi Adetiba has hit N200 million at the box office.
Adetiba made this known in a post on her Instagram page on Monday.
“If you know the journey it took to get here, you’ll understand why I am emotional right now. Congratulations to the cast, the crew and everyone that has shown us goodwill.”
The crime movie, which features Sola Sobowale, Adesua Etomi and Reminisce, tells the story of Alhaja Eniola Salami, a businesswoman and philanthropist with a checkered past and a promising political future.
As her political ambitions see her outgrowing the underworld connections responsible for her considerable wealth, she’s drawn into a power struggle that threatens everything she holds dear.
The crew also released ‘Original Gangster’ as the soundtrack for the movie.
The track features Adekunle Gold, Reminisce and Sess, a musical producer.
