How brother and cousin killed Teenager over missing phone

A 17-year-old Mahmud Adamu was over the weekend reportedly killed by his elder brother, Nura Adamu, 19, and Hussaini Adamu, his cousin, over alleged missing cell phone.

The Niger police command spokesman, Muhammad Abubakar confirmed the incident to journalists in Minna.

Abubakar said the deceased was left in a pool of blood after he was severely beaten by the suspects who were still at large.

He said “The postmortem conducted on the deceased showed that he died as a result of complications from severe beating.

“Investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspects and charge them to court.

“We assure the public that the full wrath of the law would be brought to bear on the culprits,” PPRO Abubakar stated.
