Ex-Nigerian athlete, Kemi Adekoya fails drug test

Four-time Asian Games gold medallist and 2016 world indoor 400m champion, Kemi Adekoya has failed a drug test.

Adekoya who represents Bahrain tested positive for an anabolic steroid and according to reports the 25-year old has now been suspended.

Adekoya, who was born in Nigeria but switched allegiance to Bahrain in 2014, according to the Athletics Integrity Unit tested positive for the anabolic steroid in November 2018.
