Antonio Conte’s Chelsea will on Saturday evening host Crystal Palace at the Stamford Bridge in the English Premier League (EPL).

Conte’s men must get back to winning ways against Palace to keep their hopes of Champions League qualification alive.

Chelsea are hopeful that N’Golo Kante will return to the squad after fainting last week, forcing him to miss the loss to Manchester City.

David Luiz, suffering from ankle injury, Tiemoue Bakayoko, who has calf injury and Ethan Ampadu with thigh injury, are all out of the encounter.

Ross Barkley has recovered from thigh injury and is available for selection.

Chelsea had lost the reverse fixture against Palace in October last year.

The Blues have suffered four defeats in their previous five Premier League games.

They are five points behind fourth-placed, Tottenham in the EPL table.

Meanwhile, Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace fell to a last-gasp 3-2 defeat to Manchester United on Monday, having held a 2-0 lead on the hour mark, to leave them in the relegation zone.

Palace’s injury nightmare continues but Hodgson could welcome back Yohan Cabaye (groin injury) and Joel Ward (muscle injury).

Wilfried Zaha will not feature against Chelsea, the forward is suffering from knee injury, while Mamadou Sakho (calf injury), Jason Puncheon and Connor Wickham (both knee injury) will all miss the encounter.
