Dr Sid’s wife gives birth to second child on Christmas eve
Mavin Records artiste, Dr Sid, and his wife Simi Esiri have welcomed their second child; a baby girl, TOPNAIJA.NG can confirm.
According to the ‘Surulere’ singer, his wife delivered the newborn on Christmas Eve. Dr Sid wrote: “On Christmas Eve baby Sarah Esiri was born, @simiesiri gave me the best Christmas gift ever, thank you soo much. I’m officially a proud father of 2 beautiful girls.
“I can’t lie, 2019 is already looking amazing! Happy new year in advance.”
The singer is yet to make known the name of the newborn.
The couple in July announced that they were expecting their second child.
Simi Esiri had posted on Instagram: “Sidney is going to be a big sister come fall by God’s grace! Feeling very blessed (& a little sick) Thank you Lord, thank you for your prayers & well wishes. The Esiri household can’t wait for our bundle of joy.”
In May 2015, Dr Sid welcomed his first child, Sydney, with his wife in a US hospital.
The couple tied the knot at Ikoyi Baptist Church, Lagos, in August 2014, followed by a celebrity-studded reception held at Oriental Hotel.
