ABOUT FRANK EDWARDS

Born July 22 1990, Frank Ugochukwu Edwards is a dexterous song writer and talented recording artist. He started singing at the age of ten and plays several musical instruments. Richboy as he is popularly known became born again as a teenager and learnt to play the keyboard through his father. He is a keyboardist, producer and a member of the presidential band in Christ Embassy Church.

Since the release of his debut album The Definition in 2008, and successive albums such as Angels on the Runway in 2010, Unlimited in 2011 and  Tagjam 2011, he has become a legend among the Christian music community in Nigeria with his songs enjoying massive airplay and sung in churches all around the country. Some of his songs include, You too dey bless me o, Omema o, Mma Mma, Welcome to Zion and much more.

He is a role model and inspiration to the youths. Producing his songs under his world class Record Label, christened “ROCKTOWN”, the young multi-talented artist and motivational speaker has been celebrated for revolutionalizing Nigerian Gospel Music, introducing a new and exiting twist, with his new blend of rock, fused with a little pop and fuji. Besides being an artist with many songs in all musical genre, He is also a genius producer, master mixer. As a result, Rock Town Records, which he owns, has a generation of up coming talent.

He has been nominated for several awards, and won many including West Africa best male vocalist in 2012, best hit single at the love world awards 2012 and 3 awards at the Nigeria gospel music awards (male artiste of the year, song of the year and best male vocal).
