“Dino Melaye Hasn’t Informed The Party Of Defection” – APC

Senator Dino Melaye earlier today, announce that he was defecting from the ruling party, APC to the PDP.

Apparently, the APC has not taken it well and are still in denial. First, senate president, Bukola Saraki insisted that as far as he was concerned, Dino was still a member of APC.

Now, the Spokesman for the All Progressive Congress (APC) Bolaji Abdullahi, has stated that the embattled senator representing Kogi West has not informed the party about his defection.

Abdullahi however stated that the party respects “his right of association” and wished him “Goodluck”.

“Well, to the best of my knowledge he did not inform the party. I don’t want to speculate on the reason for his decision” Abdullahi told newsmen
