Neighbours in Wimbledon, south west London have been left baffled as amphibians keep croaking it in their gardens.
He said he had been finding “three or four dead frogs” every week for the past two months.
“They don’t seem butchered.
He added: “Something’s been making them croak it – for want of a better word.”

Another local, who asked not to be named, reckons they’ve been falling from the heavens – or trees.

They said: “I’ve got a couple of ideas where these hoppers keep coming from.

“I’d like to think it’s an Act of God and all our first born sons are in for it soon, but to be honest, I reckon it’s birds.
“They could be picking them up and flying to their nests, before pecking them to bits and dropping the remainder.”
