The United States Agency for International Development is seeking applications for its grant program entitled “Preventing HIV/AIDS in Vulnerable Populations” to accelerate and sustain HIV epidemic control in South Africa through the delivery of high-impact HIV prevention, care and support services.

Deadline
30 November 2017

Objectives
-Improve the health and wellbeing of OVC, adolescents and youth who are living with, affected by and vulnerable to HIV;
-Prevent new HIV infections among priority populations;
-Scale up effective violence prevention interventions.
-The Activity will support evidence-based interventions proven to mitigate the impact of HIV on children, adolescents and their families and prevent new infections among AGYW, including those who have experienced violence, as well as among migrant and mobile populations (in select sub-districts).

-School-based HIV Prevention and GBV Prevention Component
-Community-based Violence Prevention and Linkages to Response· Component
-Prevention of New HIV Infections Among Priority Populations

Estimated Total Program Funding: $150,000,000
Award Ceiling: $150,000,000
Award Floor: $25,000,000
Eligibility Criteria
Any local South African Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Private Voluntary Organizations (PVOs), Faith-based and community organizations, and for-profit companies willing to forego profit will be eligible for award under this NOFO.
