The University of Hull invests applications for PhD scholarships to attract the best academic talent and further our research endeavours. Full-time International Fee PhD Studentships will include full fees at the International student rate for three years, dependent on satisfactory progress.

Scholarships are awarded in a number of key research areas.
-Full-time UK/EU PhD Scholarships will include fees at the ‘home/EU’ student rate and maintenance (£14,553 in 2017/18) for three years, depending on satisfactory progress.
-Full-time International Fee PhD Studentships will include full fees at the International student rate for three years, dependent on satisfactory progress.
Entrance Requirements: For entry onto a PhD, applicants should have a Masters degree with a research training element, an excellent Honours degree with a research training element, or other significant research credentials.
English Language Requirements: If your first language is not English, or you require a Tier 4 student visa to study, you will be required to provide evidence of your English language proficiency level.
