4 simple barriers that could kill your motivation

Self Comparism

While there are good comparisons, there are negative ones as well. The issue is whenever we compare ourselves it tends to be in a negative comparison. We often discourage ourselves because we compare what we are doing to someone else’s progress. We might be on the same journey, even though there may be similarities, they are two branching paths entirely. Your beginning might be someone else’ midpoint, each individual to his own race.

Waiting For The Right Moment

In life, waiting for that right moment is rather unfeasible as there is never a precise timing nor do you need people’s permission to take an action. Once you there is an opportunity, jump right at it because the sooner you take action, the more time you have to hustle and be stay on top of your game.

Remaining in your comfort zone

Now you have taken that action to some extent but they are not enough steps to propelling you forward. After the initial activities, you have now become very ‘busy’ but less productive. It is entirely up to you to take that motivation and propel your own self forward. Sometimes, you might have to give up some things or let go to get more. Push yourself beyond your limits to achieve more and new results. It’s okay to make mistakes but get back up, make adjustments and go at it again when you do.

Seeking validation from people

Your opinion of yourself is the only thing that should be able to make or break your day and your life. How you see yourself will determine your limit and how much you get out of life. It is rather sad, most especially, seeing how important social media is at this time, to see how far persons would go just to please other people.

Stop seeking validation from others. We are all different people who have different tastes, different ideals, different perspectives and different opinions rather embrace self-worth.
