3 Months: From Fat Kid, To The Guy With The Body Of A Marine

   Once known as the fat funny kid in class. He would constantly eat past the point of feeling full which left him miserable and unmotivated during his teenage years.

But after turning his life around,James Tilley dropped 6.5st in three months to achieve his dream of joining the Royal Marines.
The 24-year-old dropped ten inches off his waist after ditching junk food and he now helps get into shape after opening his own gym.
He weighed a whopping 17st when he was 16 and would regularly consume up to 5,000 calories a day including takeaway pizzas for his school dinners.

James said: “In reality, I was miserable. I never wanted to leave the house, and wouldn’t go swimming with my friends because I felt too embarrassed.”

But after leaving school his step-dad suggested he joined the marines to get into shape.

“My step-dad suggested that I join the marines and it was as if someone had flicked a switch in my head because from that moment I knew this was my motivation to get fit,” added James.

Inspired by this goal James, realised he had to quickly shed his excess weight to pass the strenuous fitness tests required.

He began exercising every day and overhauled his eating habits by buying healthy protein-packed foods from Musclefood.com.

“Once I’d made the decision to train every day I soon started to see results and was amazed to lose so much weight in such a short time,” he added.
