3 Major keys to happiness in life

Happiness is attainable, no matter what’s going on in your life. Consider what will make you happy and write it down and then create a few habits that will help to get you there. You have to make an effort every day to explore what is possible which would eventually render our lives meaningful and happy.

Here are three major points that will help;

Gratitude – Be grateful every day for the little things and the big things. Happiness will never come until we are completely grateful for what we have. Start each day writing down somethingyou are grateful for, and adding something new to the list every other day. The second thing to do each day is to express gratitude to someone else. Send a gratitude text or a gift to someone you love and let them know how grateful you are to have them in your life. Leave a handwritten note for your someone, telling them how grateful you are for how they have helped you.

Growth – Pick an area in your life that you want to grow in. Learn a new skill. Learn some useful knowledge. Practice building a relationship by learning a listening and communication skill. No knowledge is ever lost as we learn, unlearn and relearn. Learn a vocation. Dedicate some time in a day to improving yourself.

Giving –Find a worthy charity, NGO or an orphanage and give some of your time and money. Give someone a helping hand.  Whatever you are able to give, be intentional about it. Give sincere appreciation to someone at work, or to a friend, or to a family member. Give something every day.
