1. Super Eagles stars, Troost Ekong, Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina, have arrived the Wroclaw camp of the team ahead of the international friendly against Poland on Friday. Other players in camp include Leon Balogun, and Brian Idowu.

2. Report says Nigerian Air Force training air plane crashed in Kaduna on Monday. The one passenger plane crashed in Kauran Dawa in Saminaka Local Area of the state. No casualty was recorded as the pilot came out unhurt.

3. The Presidency on Monday called on the Senate to its lift ban on confirmation of nominees of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Presidential Adviser on National Assembly, Senator Ita Enang said this during the screening of two nominees for Deputy Governors of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and others.

4. Catholic Archbishop Emeritus of Lagos, Anthony Cardinal Okogie, has written to President Muhammadu Buhari, over insecurity and other burning issues in the country. The cleric said the current government had gone to sleep while those that voted for them were dying of hunger.

5. Government Science Secondary School, Kurfi, Katsina State, has been shut down after an unknown epidemic claimed the lives of eight pupils of the institution. This was disclosed by the lawmaker representing Kurfi Constituency at the Katsina House of Assembly, Kabir Lawal.

6. Vice President,Yemi Osinbajo has said that former President, Goodluck Jonathan’s administration shared N150 billion two weeks to the 2015 elections.

7. Management of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has released instructions for 2081 Batch A prospective corps members in regards to their registration. This was disclosed in a statement on its official social media pages. Candidates have been advised to check.

8. The Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim Idris, on Monday ordered the immediate withdrawal of police officers attached to some political office holders and very important personalities, VIPs, in the country.

9. Many were reportedly killed and several houses burnt as Fulani herdsmen attacked Agbenema in Opada/Ofejiji ward, Omala Local Government of Kogi State on Monday. Report says the herdsmen in their numbers invaded the community at about 10.30am and started shooting sporadically.

10. Suspected thugs alleged to be working for Dino Melaye and Mohammed Audu, Kabiru Saidu, aka Osama and Nuhu Salisu, Aka Small were paraded on Monday in Lokoja. According to the Force Public Relations Officer, Jimo Moshood, the suspects upon interrogation confessed to the crime.
